I am saddened that so much "stuff" has gotten in the way of my posting to this blog...I won't go into detail now, but will eventually share all that's been going on at this end. Just wanted you to know I am still living, and miss visiting with those who stop by.. blessings to each of you and God bless!!!
God gives us talents that are used to bring joy to all those around us...in doing so we are hopefully honoring HIM!

Tis the Day after Christmas
And all through our home, things are beginning to look "normal" today... all Christmas decorations will stay till the day after New Year (at least) and all cleaning is discontinued till the first of the year.
Dewey's Annual Christmas Party was held on December 23rd. I believe it was the very best over the past 10 yrs. Not a chair was empty from noon till 2pm...there was potato and pasta salad, and green beans, dip for chips. Then fried chicken, meatballs, and all kinds of cheese. Soda and water to wash it all down...oh and can't forget the Chocolate Eclair and cookies for those with a sweet tooth.
Most of all was the wonderful fellowship with friends and neighbors. I left the shop before it was over because the dogs were home alone.
Christmas Eve was our annual visit to Lisa Lynn's home where all our families gather to share Christmas Cheer. It was a wonderful time for all of us to Celebrate the Birth of our King, Christ Jesus all those years ago.
Here's hoping each and everyone of you had a wonderful Christmas, blessings from our home to yours all through the New Year. hugs, peace and joy from Dewey and Bevie

It's December 3rd, 2014
Good morning, this is the first time I've posted in this blog for many months. I started a new blog names, Paintings I love to share...but for some reason no one has come to visit. So I thought, I don't want to lose all my old friends so I'm back using this one.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and looking forward to Christmas one of my favorite times of the year....it's the giving to others and celebrating Christ Jesus' Birthday that make this one of my two most favorite times to Celebrate. The other one is of course, Easter!!
now to share some of my paintings and the new jewelry I've created most of which I plan to give as gifts.
