Although today isn't over, I"m totally exhaused from our long right and visits to a couple outdoor flea markets.. Yes, I found some little goodies, a birdhouse to paint, a rod iron sled for $2.00 what fun it will be to decorate at Christmas time..but I"m thinking it would be cute fixed
Funny I just found this in my drafts...dah!!!! heehhehe

Some painting I've been doing

I have been having so much fun painting on little 8x10 canvasboards...it's funny how I seem to wake with a picture in my mind that I want to put on paper...well canvas..ehehehe!!! I'm going to be closing my other blog and just keep this one...since it's been too difficult keeping up with both...so if you follow He Lives at http://bevie2u2.blogspot.com you will find it's hiding now...
Blessings for a wonderful day loving, giving and reaching out to others....(hugs)

During the rains

These are photos of some land that usually is just grass, and of course creeks that are overflowing. Everywhere we looked as we drove down from our home was water water water, and trees, huge trees down..I don't know why I didn't get a photo of them.
The sun has been out some today and the rains are supposed to be over!!! One good thing is we only have 3 little piles of snow...they were once 5 ft tall!!! Saw a Robin over the weekend and the bluebirds are flying all over again!!! Love the signs of Spring!!!

Here's some new jewelry I made recently!

I have been renewing my passion for creating jewelry as it's had been over a year since I really did anything...I'm still painting but am so excited about posting these items in a new site where I can actually put them up for auction, WITH A RESERVE!! I think I posted some of these on FB so if you've already seen some...don't get bored..ehehhehe!!!
It looks like I"m going to be off my feet for awhile as I had a little accident last night when trying to leave my puter. My left leg gave way and I fell towards a large basket that I keep my jewelry in...now you can guess I tried very hard not to crush the jewelry or the basket....I yelled for my dh who came running and saw me in a very unusual position...one leg crossed over the other one that was leaning on the side of the basket...Oh so much pain..can't tell ya..they are both swollen this morning...I have pain patches on them...but walking is difficult. And I'd just been to the drs yesterday!!! hehehe Thanks God she changed my pain meds...much stronger than the Darvocet...was taking 6 of those a day and it didn't even take the edge off....Oh well, was just thinking if you could hold me in prayer that this fall heals quickly...I don't have time for this!!!
Blessings to each of you who so kindly come and visit!!!

Awww what gorgeous work!!!

The first photo is an American Indian Tribute painting, "Warrior Tears" done by Cathy Minerva in encaustics. I fell in love with all her paintings done in this medium, and someday I'm gonna be the owner of one.

The second is a little ATC done in this same medium. I was totally blown away especially because it's Cathy's first encaustic ATC ever done...and I own it!!! heheeh!!!
Thank you Patti Koosed for partnering Cathy and I up in your Blog's Valentine Swap.

Playing around with Copper

I usually use Sterling Silver to make my handcrafted/handwired/beaded jewelry, but discovered several sizes of copper that I'd purchased when I first got involved with this venture!!! That was over 2 yrs ago...hehehe I thought I'd show you some of what I've designed this week and have to tell ya it was fun...didn't think I liked copper, but I do...please note I'm quite the novice at creating handwired bracelets...
