Memorial Day~

This Memorial holiday has been one to remember, sunny here in VA with very hot temps...been in the 90 all three day! Wishing everyone a wonderful day celebrating all those who have in the past, and are now serving to keep our Country safe. My dad was in the Navy ,but the war ended just before he was to be deployed, and I think he was happy but sad at the same time...Mom was carrying me and my twin bro...so I guess he was happy to be in Washington DC for that event...Now deceased I salute him too~!!

Please forgive me for not post here often...don't know how long I'll be able to because I may have to have surgery not only on my back, but my left shoulder which is the hand I paint, eat and do just about everything with. Sooooo I'm here to tell ya I'm missing you all so very much but will try to visit your blogs as often as I can...Blessings and have a wonderful week.

Good morning

It's been way too long since I last posted here and for that I'm really sorry...sometimes life just takes over, right? The past month was difficult in that I've found myself having way too many "accidents" a fall here and there...MRI's and orders to stay off my feet..hehehe!!! Now I continued to paint in verious positions...yeaaaa even in bed..hehehehe!

I wanted to share with you what I've completed recently....I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day. I did, got cards from all my children and spent the day with my hubby taking me out to dinner. He continues to surprise me with his tender side. "smile"

I was offline for almost 2 weeks last month...first to remodel this puter/studio then because my computer had much to take off by a professional. Now it's running much faster...must have had a problem for a long time...heheh~

The past 2 weeks.

Boy I have to tell you the past couple weeks have been a real trial for me...I guess I sh9uld include my dh because he's had to live with me thru it all. hehehe!! We decided to remodel this puter/studio room a couple weeks ago, so I closed my puter down and we cleared out everything...I was having some pain in my back for a couple days so Dewey suggested I just stay back and let him do all the moving and then taking up the old carpet. Those of you who deal with Chronic Pain or medical issues know what it's like to have to stand by while someone else does most of the work...I hate it actually. We decided to put tile down as it's easier to clean...that done, we found we had more than enough to do the walls with the same paneling we'd used in the living and dining rooms. Oh but it's pretty, but no battery for my camera so will have to wait to upload a photo or two. Sunday the day he was finishing up the paneling my back was causing so much pain I couldn't get up from a chair...walk to the bathroom or do anything...so off to the ER we went. After sitting in a room for over an hr the dr finally came in. After an exam he told me I was having the worst case of Sciatica he'd ever seen...He promply suggested I stay in the hospital till we could schedule an OPEN MRI as I"m terrible claustic....no not having that, so to the drugstore we went to get 3 perscriptions filled. My dh went in a waited for them..Predisone pack (am allergy to all nsaids) percocets for pain...Flexeral for the muscles. So as soon as I started those I started to have some relief...but the symptomes are still with me after 2 weeks...in fact I have a feeling that there's a very tight band around my body from under the arms to my butt. I've called and called asking for the Neurologist that was supposed to read my MRI...no one is calling back...I'm afraid I'm going to have to re-visit the ER if they don't soon do something. I believe drs are just too darned busy that they can't keep up...grrrrr

Just wanted you all to know why I hadn't been around to visit your wonderful blogs...oh and also I just got back online cuz my puter was full of virises and had to go to the PC dr...so when I finally got it back this morning I found over 800 messages to read...no I deleted most of them..hehehhe~~



Ok on a serious note, I'd like you all to continue to pray for my daughter, Missy because the last couple days she's had some really severe swelling in her legs and feet...I'd posted before that she was born with a rare muscle disease one that they really didn't know much about 30 some years ago therefore she was never given a prognosis. We were aware that her heart was affected since the disease affects any striated muscles. She's seen her Cardiologist today who has put her one two heart meds and a water pill. If this doesn't help they will have to put in a PaCEMAKER. She's only 33 yrs old. She's on disability but has been working the allowed hrs to be able to keep up her car payment. This may not be an option tho...do what you all do best...Pray the God continues to hold her close....love you all...Blessings~~~

He has Risen!!

Our Lord and Savior has RISEN on a Sunday so very long ago, and we continue to celebrate His awesome sacrific!! Join me in rejoicing and praising our Savior Christ Jesus....hugs!!!

We celebrate Easter

Easter brings with it the most stirring feelings of love, joy and sadness to me. When I read the story of how Jesus dies then arises in Luke 22:14-23:56 my heart feels so much pain as I picture in my mind his suffering at our expense.

Just think God provided a way for each of us to be saved from sin to have a life with HIM in eternity....Jesus God's sacrificial Lamb. I bend to give praise for such an awesome love such as this...As Good Friday approches I pray for those who haven't yet accepted this awesome, free gift of salvation they will do it now so they will feel all the love our Father has for all those how believe. I want to wish each and everyone who come to visit me a Blessed Easter Season. (((hugs))) Bevie

Look what I got delivered to me on SUNDAY!

Our sweet Mizmolly Self had an Easter Swap over at her blog, and Carey got my name...I was shocked to be summoned to the door before 9am on Sunday morning with a delivery of a hug box.
I saw *Carey* on the mail form so knew right away it was my Easter Basket from her. I was really blown away at all she was able to pack into that darling basket she decorated for me...not too sure she didn't make the basket too!!! Wow I sure feel a little guilty at the gift I sent my swap partner...didn't send her a basket...shame on me...

Sun for Saturday

Although today isn't over, I"m totally exhaused from our long right and visits to a couple outdoor flea markets.. Yes, I found some little goodies, a birdhouse to paint, a rod iron sled for $2.00 what fun it will be to decorate at Christmas time..but I"m thinking it would be cute fixed
