These little corner cabinets I had made for the little dining area just off the living room have been sitting there without any covering for more than 4 yrs...I just wasn't sure if I wanted to stain or paint them..well after visiting my sister, Mary I was encouraged to do something to them to warm them up!! I started with mixing yellows and browns to come up with a mustardy color...then watered it down. It looked better but needed something more. So I took dark brown paint and rubbed it on in places with a rag....I like them but think they need something more...Help Mary, or anyone else that wants to leave a comment as to what I should do now!!! heheheh!!!

I say live with them for awhile and see if you still want to change them.
They are much "warmer" in color, but they still blend into the paneling a bit, which is okay if you like it.
what about painting the inside a color??
No I want them brighter...so am going to introduce another color...will think about it some.heheh Thanks sis!! love ya
Bevie, I like Mary's idea of painting the inside a color or maybe doing the entire piece in a color stain.....
