Our prayers are being answered.

I mentioned that my hubby lost his shop several weeks ago, however a friend and his parents sat down with them and offered a portion of their large shop for as long as it's needed...Good Christian family who believes God wants them to share.  We are so blessed!!  This shop is in WV so we've decided to sell our home in VA if we can buy one in WV making the trip to work a short one for a change.  Dewey had been traveling 45 mins to and from work spending big bucks on gas.  This will help keep us within our budget, and get us closer to our children (all but one lives in WV) Yea!!  It's actually 3 houses from Dewey's daughter so I'll be able see that Harley gets on and off the bus when school starts.  We love our little home in the mountains with all the tall old trees....but there's a huge shop on the property with no restrictions so the guys can work from home!!  Keep us close in prayer if you will...God is in control and we have Faith that things will be as HE wants them.

My therapy should end in the next couple weeks because I'm progressing well.  Knee bend @ 103 degrees, needs to be @ 110.  It's perfect with it straightened.  Hurray!  I've lost 29 lbs since the surgery and pulling out clothes I've had stored away for at least 5 yrs...eheheh!!
Here's a photo of my sweet, little therapist and me!

Ephesians 3:20-21
God can do anything, you know-far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.

Glory to God in the church!
Glory to God in the Messiah, in Jesus!
Glory down all the generations!
Glory through all millennia! Oh, yes!

Awaiting on God's guidance.

You know things happen in life that doesn't make much sense however, we need to be able to react with the knowledge that God is in control of everything...it's been a trying week for us as the guy Dewey was renting from the past couple years asked him to leave on Friday!  He had approched Dewey with a new contract that had things in it that Dewey couldn't agree to.  A million dollars of insurance on the building he was using was one thing...no insurance co. would ever insure that old building for that much money.  Secondly Dewey was to pay $700.00 a mo for a full year after if there was a fire.  So I would imagine that was the reason to have him move.  Move to where?? Everything was moved to our storage building and garage at home.  Because we are in a Homeowner's we cannot work out of our home, but we could continue to tow for the County we live in.  That's a good thing!  We've been looking at a house that's available in the County where he was working making it possible to build a shop and work from home there!  We're waiting for God's guidance in this matter.  It's a strange thing to have this happen when things are really tight already, but we aren't afraid at all because we know God is in control of our lives....we've put it all at HIS feet....Blessings to all those who find themselves in a similar situation...(((hugs))) Bevie

We had a great Saturday drive

I forgot my camera for our Saturday drive so I'll show you the jewelry I did yesterday instead..heheh!!  I love creating unique little sets...this one goes so well with several of my own outfits that I may have to keep it for myself.  I purchased the little 4mm swarovski crystal beads from China off Ebay for just 99 cents.  It's amazing how many awesome spacers, and gemstones one can get for under a dollar with free shipping too!!!  I'm loving everything I've gotten so far!!

Royal blue swarovski 4mm crystals with beautiful spacers and earring findings!

I love the color of these swarovski pearls

Beautiful SS earrings with pink swarovski pearls...yum!!

My hubby is spoiling me terribly...lol, he's still doing most of the cooking when he doesn't take me out for dinner.  (he's quite good at it too.)  Today was my day for OP therapy and I have to say they put me through the paces.  The minute I got home I had to ice my leg as it was really sore, but we are getting the bend we want so it's really a good thing..heheh  Now, I'm going to get busy, and post a couple photos, then get some things done around here. Blessings to all!! Bevie!

I've been home a week!!

It's so good to get back to doing the things I love doing!  I've truly missed blogging and visiting all my friends blogs...please forgive me for not getting to all those I've made friends with along the way.  It's been just over 2 wks since my TKR and things really are getting back to normal.  This week my daughter, Missy came on Weds to take me to the 3 appts I have with several drs plus O.P. therapy...that's today and I know they will be putting me through the paces.hehehhe!!  I never thought my leg would have swollen as much after the surgery and the bruising was over the whole let. Yikes, it's finally fading away.  The minute I woke from the surgery I was very sore, but no pain to speak of.  All that horrible pain I was living with for so many years is totally gone!  What a blessing that is.  I can actually walk without a limp!!  Now to get stronger so I can get healthier!!! Yea!!!
Blessings to all you out in Blog Land will be visiting each of you in the next couple days!!!  Love ya!!!
This leg was 3 times that of the other one!

It's Friday again!

Here we are living Friday again, and a promising weekend facing us.  My knee replacement surgery was postponed twice, and now scheduled for Weds. the 29th of June...I'm keeping myself covered as best I can to keep the dogs from scratching me again. You know there are times we feel like screaming because things don't go the way YOU think they should, BUT I believe there are no accidents, and that God was trying to get my attention about this surgery.  I wasn't afraid at all even tho I know the rehab will be difficult, but think God wanted me to be with my hubby for Father's Day...and to have another Saturday drive with him...so we will head out early tomorrow and I'll try to capture some really awesome photos of what we see...I have to tell you what my hubby shared with me this morning....he'd gotten up with a really bad headache which isn't something new...but when he took has blood pressure he discovered what we at last night caused it to go up.  Salt is something he can not have...so he took the meds perscribed to bring the BP down. Later he took his BP again and it was really low..yes this happens sometime, but what he said just tickled my funny bone, and could help but laugh...I'm quoting him,  "My BP is way too low, and I don't want to wake up dead~  See what I mean...heheheh~~~  there was a pause, then he laughed realizing what he's said..   Well kiddos, I must get off here and get something done, definately not packing as my suitcases have been packed and in my van for 3 wks..hehehehe!!
I wanted to share a couple photos before signing off...I pray that each of you are feeling well, are looking forward to your weekend with family...and a special Sunday with your Church family!!!  I sure am.

WHAT A FIND

I was in town to pick up perscriptions yesterday so
I decided to visit  Salvation Army!  As I walked in I saw back in a corner this brown lounge chair..I'd been looking for something to replace my old black (imitation) leather chair.
Here it was...well used, leather so creaming smooth.
 Would you believe just$40.00!!!?
I paid for it then 2 guys loaded it in
my van.  It is so much  more comfortable than the
old one, higher off the ground which is a good thing!!
Goes better with the brown and burgandy sofa too.
Now to clean my three area rugs to make our home
more comfy!!!
Guess I'll get them done this week, God willing and
my knee holds up..ehehhe
Blessings!

One more week!

Hubby and I were all ready to leave for the hospital when one of my pugs, Napoleon jumped up on my Unprotected knee~ I looked at Dewey and said, they won't do the surgery today because the scratch broke the skin!  I'd been so careful keeping a blanket over the knee when sitting cuz a three pugs tend to want in my lap.  We went straight to the hospital where my surgeon said it wasn't worth taking a chance on infection.  He'd have gone ahead with the surgery if the scratch was on the other side.   Sooooo, another week we must wait,     Thanks for all your prayers, but keep them coming as it will be done next week...
Have a blessed day!
